You shouldn't have to avoid:
KeryFlex provides an immediate cosmetic improvement, allowing the restored nail to have a smoother, more natural appearance after a 10 minute application.
What Is KeryFlex Nail Restoration?
KeryFlex is a professional nail restoration system that uses a specialized composite resin to remodel the appearance of a damaged toenail to create a smooth, natural-looking nail that is flexible, durable, and non-porous, while allowing the remaining natural nail to continue growing underneath.
Unlike simply covering an unattractive nail with polish, KeryFlex is applied by a trained foot-care professional in a clinical setting. KeryFlex is an in-office cosmetic nail restoration procedure with results that last for months. KeryFlex can also be used with regular nail polish and is designed to withstand exposure to acetone and detergents.
KeryFlex May Be an Option for Toenails Affected by:
Have You Been Told Your Nail Fungus Test Was Negative?
Sometimes a patient has a toenail that looks abnormal but does not have an active fungal infection. Testing has come back negative, yet the nail can remain thickened, discolored, distorted, or otherwise unattractive.
In other cases, a previous injury or chronic skin condition may have permanently changed the way the nail grows.
KeryFlex can provide a cosmetic restoration option when the nail itself is damaged.\

KeryFlex Is Not a Treatment for Toenail Fungus
KeryFlex restores the appearance of the nail; it does not cure toenail fungus or an underlying nail disorder. However, It can be used in conjunction with oral and laser treatement for toenail fungus
If you have an active fungal infection, your podiatrist can evaluate the nail and discuss appropriate treatment separately.
KeryFlex may be considered when the primary concern is the appearance of a damaged nail, including cases where the nail remains cosmetically abnormal after an underlying condition has been evaluated.
Is KeryFlex Right for You?
The best way to determine whether KeryFlex is appropriate is through an evaluation of your toenail.
We may consider KeryFlex for patients who are bothered by the appearance of a damaged, discolored, misshapen, or otherwise unattractive toenail.
KeryFlex is not appropriate for everyone, and not covered by insurance. Dr. Williams or Zemela can determine whether nail restoration is appropriate for you.
Don't Let Your Toenails Keep You From Showing Your Feet
If you have tried treating your toenails but they remain permanently damaged or unattractive, KeryFlex Toenail Restoration may be the cosmetic solution you've been looking for.
